We’ll fit into your busy schedule and absorb all the hassle. Forget driving, parking and child care, we’ll come to you, bringing all the necessary equipment including mats, blocks and belts.
Mountain Ocean Rehab offer matwork and chair pilates. The sessions differ from person to person but will generally consist of a gentle warm up, the main body of the session and ending with relaxation.
Prior to your first private pilates lesson, we will discuss your medical history to assess any current or past injuries, exploring your goals to ensure all objectives are met.
The Pilates method encompasses a structured and graduated system of therapeutic exercises which are used from the early stages of injury rehabilitation to a fully functional fitness regime.
Pilates improves overall body posture and alignment and ensures functional movement patterns by developing the deep postural muscles that support the joints and the skeleton.
Pilates develops a lean, muscular physique, combining flexibility and strength, while focusing on functional efficient movement patterns to reduce the likelihood of future pain and injury.
Please prepare an area in your house or workplace. We will need sufficient space for the mats on the floor and for the exercises to take place.
Mountain Ocean Rehab is able to provide four mats, blocks and belts. Our clients are very welcome to use their own equipment.
You'll need to wear approproate fitting sportswear, allowing you to move freely during the pilates session.
